Use the output—inspect it before fabrication.

These terms describe the current free, anonymous SVG to DXF converter.

The service

svgtodxf.app provides a browser-based tool that converts a supported subset of SVG geometry to two-dimensional ASCII DXF R2000. The converter is available without an account and processes drawing files locally in the browser.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for having the right to use the files you select and for checking the DXF before relying on it. Always verify physical size, contours, units, material setup, toolpaths, and machine parameters in the target CAD/CAM application before cutting, machining, manufacturing, or purchasing material.

Measure twice

A successful conversion means the file met the documented geometry contract. It does not validate a machine setup, manufacturing process, or fitness for a safety-critical use.

Supported input

The product intentionally supports a limited static SVG subset. Axis-aligned rectangular clip paths are supported. Live text, raster images, complex or uncertain clipping, masks, markers, scripts, external resources, and unsupported CSS semantics are not converted. The app blocks export when an active unsupported feature could change the drawing instead of silently returning a partial result.

No warranties

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. We do not promise that every SVG authoring tool or DXF importer will interpret every file identically, or that the service will be uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, svgtodxf.app is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or production losses arising from use of the service or an exported file. Applicable consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass safety limits, or use the site to violate law or another person’s rights. Because drawing files are processed locally, the product does not grant permission to use content you do not own or control.

Changes and contact

The service and these terms may change as the product evolves. A material update will receive a new effective date. Questions can be sent to support@svgtodxf.app.
